Politics and policy are downstream from media.

But the media landscape for technology policy misses a lot.

Legacy media is uninterested in policy proposals or stories that don't drive drama, while many independent and tech-focused media don't really understand what drives decision-making in Washington.

We understand informed media creates informed policy. We know that because we operated at the highest levels of government for over a decade. What got us up from behind our desks weren't white papers or paid ads. It was media.

ALFA News is a media platform that bridges the information gap between builders, business leaders, and government.

We are a media brand that is fluent in policy and politics, grounded in tech and innovation, and focused on clarity over outrage.

Why "ALFA"

In the early days of the space race, NASA needed to prepare its pilots for something no human had ever experienced — the precise physical demands of maneuvering a capsule through space under tremendous gravitational force.

The answer was a specially engineered simulator called ALFA. Immortalized in Tom Wolfe's The Right Stuff, it was the training ground for John Glenn, Alan Shepard, and the other men who would ultimately put a man on the moon.
